Kusi Art is a love letter to my Bolivian-American roots.

Kusi, which means joy in Quechua, encapsulates the heart of my art – a joyful celebration of my Bolivian-American roots and my path as a Latina artist in the U.S.

As a bicultural Latina, I’ve always lived between two worlds. The U.S. is my home, and my Bolivian heritage is the foundation of my identity. Over the years, I’ve tied together my cultural background with the American roots I’ve grown in this country, creating a unique blend of influences that shape who I am today.

This deep connection to both cultures fueled my desire to reconnect with my roots and explore the rich traditions that have shaped my life. I traveled extensively throughout Latin America, and with each experience, my bond to my heritage grew stronger.

Through photography, painting, and textile art, I aim to share the joy I feel in celebrating both my Hispanic culture and my American experience. I hope my work brings you as much joy as it brought me in creating it.
